The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • players names, addresses, contact numbers & emails, date of birth, school attending
  • players medical conditions & allergies
  • parent’s names, addresses, contact numbers & email
  • players & parents signatures


How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • to register as a football player at Alfold FC.
  • to register for an activity run by Alfold FC.
  • when becoming a committee member, coach or helper at Alfold FC.

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • we are passed confidential information when a coach applies for a DBS as to be able to work with U18 players.

We use the information that you have given us in order to ensure any coaches or members within the club are suitably checked & are suitable for our organisation.

We may share this information with various football leagues as to be able to register players this is also on the Whole Game System overseen by The FA.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

Your information is securely stored within a secure facility.

We keep all completed forms with personal information for between 12/14 months. We will then dispose your information by shredding & burning all paper copies & all electronic copies permanently deleted from committee devices.
