During the break in fixtures due to COVID-19 the club has been quick to start renovations to the playing surface at the Recreation Ground.
Following the completion of two new stands last improvement continued when the pitch underwent Venti-Draining with sixty tonnes of sand.
The club was a victim of multiple postponements prior to the recent suspension of the league when the pitch struggled to cope with the volume of rainfall in the early part of the year.
The work carried out by Grasstex should hopefully improve drainage leaving the pitch in good shape to cope with the winter months next season.
Having had plenty of time to recover the club are excited to once again provide an excellent playing surface once fixtures resume.
